Shirehall Museum and Abbey Gardens

The abbey grounds contain the ruins of the Augustinian priory the site of the original shrine and holy house. Set in around 20 acres, the peaceful gardens also include woodland and riverside walks. The Shirehall Museum was a courthouse until 1971 and now houses displays on the history of Walsingham, local photographs and artifacts. Tourist Information Centre and gift shop.
